1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Stellar Solutions, owned and operated by Boris Žagar (Croatia), collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit www.stellar-solutions.hr or communicate with us in the course of a prospective or existing professional relationship.

Stellar Solutions acts as the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, or “GDPR”) and the Croatian Personal Data Protection Implementation Act.

Information you provide

When you contact us by email, WhatsApp, telephone or through any contact method offered on the website, we may collect your name, business or property name, email address, telephone number, country of operation and any information you voluntarily include in your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting infrastructure and analytics tools may record technical information such as IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of the visit. Where possible, this information is processed in an aggregated or pseudonymised form.

  • Responding to enquiries and discussing a potential collaboration — legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Providing revenue management services to existing clients — legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Compliance with legal and accounting obligations — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Improving and securing the website, including analytics — legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or your consent where required.

The website uses a minimal set of cookies and, where enabled, privacy- respecting analytics to understand how visitors interact with our content. 6. Contact forms & correspondence

Any information you send us by email, contact form, WhatsApp or telephone is used solely to respond to your enquiry, to evaluate whether Stellar Solutions is the right long-term partner for your property, and — where a collaboration is agreed — to deliver our services. We do not use enquiries for marketing lists and do not sell personal data.

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration: retained for up to 24 months, then securely deleted.
  • Client records: retained for the duration of the engagement and for the periods required by Croatian tax, accounting and commercial law (typically up to 11 years for accounting documentation).
  • Website & analytics logs: retained for a limited period necessary for security and diagnostic purposes.

8. Third-party services

We rely on carefully selected service providers to operate the website and deliver our work, including website hosting, email infrastructure, analytics, revenue management platforms, distribution channel managers and communication tools (e.g. WhatsApp). These providers act as data processors under written agreements and are permitted to process personal data only on our instructions and in accordance with the GDPR.

Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another recognised transfer mechanism to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

9. Your rights under the GDPR

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • request data portability where applicable;
  • withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) or your local supervisory authority.

10. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Access is restricted to authorised persons who require the information to perform their duties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. The date of the most recent revision is indicated at the top of this page.
